With over 25 years of industry experience, Craig Spratling provides a rare perspective that combines hands-on craftsmanship with civil engineering and project management expertise. Having overseen the delivery of more than 200 residential and commercial projects across Australia and the UK—valued at over $80 million—he offers a deep practical understanding of every trade and stage of the building process.
Since 2018, he has applied this background to building consultancy, managing over 100 matters involving defect diagnosis, remedial scopes, and contract administration. He is a highly regarded expert witness, frequently providing evidence for the Supreme, District, and Local Courts, as well as NCAT. His ability to navigate complex disputes is rooted in his dual history as a business owner and engineer, ensuring technical accuracy in both quantum analysis and quality compliance.
Today, he specializes in bridging the gap between technical construction requirements and legal evidence. Whether representing owners in multi-million dollar remedial works or assisting contractors in dispute resolution, he prides himself on producing meticulous documentation and high-quality evidence that stands up to the highest levels of professional scrutiny.
